DentRx unveils first virtual dental appointment tool, takes virtual telemedicine to the next level

With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing the healthcare industry to press the reset button, DentRx has seized this opportunity to revolutionize the market after unveiling the first virtual dental appointment tool globally.

Touted as the healthcare industry’s “New Reset,” DentRx launched the I-Vue Intraoral Camera. This device not only [allows the patient to] take pictures and videos but provides multiple levels of magnification and light source. It has a dual-screen for comparison, which now makes the dentist and patient interactive. The clarity and scale of the DentRx I-Vue Camera also enable physicians to check the condition of a patient.

The DentRx I-Vue allows a dermatologist to compare lesions in hard-to-see places, an ENT doctor to look in the ear or back of the throat, and a pediatrist to become interactive as well.

“Patients can show the lesion in question, without help, without the fear of falling and give their provider a clear image making diagnosis easier,” said Christina Stradford, DentRx CEO.

The DentRx I-Vue Camera is the size of an ink pen and pairs with the patient’s smartphone via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

A patient can see what the camera is pointed at on their phone or tablet, allowing both the doctor and the patient to interact together in a more supportive measure.

“This has become a revolutionary and an invaluable device for sharing diagnostic quality photos with a variety of different health care professionals,” Christina stressed.

Multidiscipline software platform

Today, most virtual telemedicine platforms allow doctors to speak with their patients at home to help decrease the spread of infections in waiting rooms and for patient convenience.

The United States-based DentRx has pushed this innovation in virtual telemedicine further. The DentRxUSA features a multidiscipline software platform for dentists and physicians, complete with an interactive wellness tool, allowing patients to share their problems with their caregivers.

The developers of the DentRxUSA brand joined hands with lead experts of Adroit Infosystems to bring this innovative platform globally.

“We are excited to provide an enterprise-level Telehealth solution to the healthcare market. DentRxUSA platform has features including Telehealth, Mobile Apps, Practice Management System, Electronic Health Records, Revenue Cycle Management Services, and Patient Relationship Management,” said Manoj Verma, CEO of Adroit Infosystems.

Adroit Infosystems is a leading healthcare software company based in South Jordan, Utah. Its product portfolio includes electronic health software products eHospital, eClinic, ePharmacy, eLaboratory, and eRadiology Systems.

Over 50 healthcare facilities in 14 countries across four continents trust Adroit’s software products. The product suite is currently available in English, French, and Spanish. Adroit’s support services help clients to render complete satisfaction using round-the-clock multichannel support.

“The launch of DentRx confirms our commitment to provide world-class software products, along with support and service to global clients. Our team is excited and ready for the future,” Manoj added.

Gaining vertical growth

Without capital investors or bank loans, DentRx, a self-funded startup, rose to the challenge and showed that people can still gain vertical growth and market presence with strategic alliances and co-operatives targeting a specific niche.

“To gain rapid vertical growth in a crowded field, you must have a healthy disregard for traditional approaches to software development,” Christina said.

All patient information is securely uploaded to a HIPPA compliant environment, with entire medical and dental history, x-rays, diagnostic aids sent safely to the physician or dentist of their choice. Within minutes the doctor can safely review the documents, and the exam can be initiated.

The portal automatically checks and verifies patient insurance information and makes cash, debit, or credit card payments all secure, protected, and completed before seeing the chosen provider.

When the appointment is completed, the program quickly submits the claim to the insurance carrier and sends any prescriptions to the pharmacy electronically.
