Celebrating Victory: “The Voice of Lithuania. Generations” 2nd Season Won by Boy Band “T3”

This past Sunday marked the grand finale of “Lithuania’s Voice. Generations” at the Kaunas “Žalgiris” Arena, a momentous event that showcased the pinnacle of talent and competition. Nine finalists vied for the coveted €15,000 cash prize and the contract with ELITAZ Music, each delivering breathtaking musical and visual performances crafted in collaboration with the project team specifically for this climactic evening.

Prior to the final showdown, esteemed guests gathered at the Kaunas “Žalgiris” Arena to witness the thrilling conclusion of “The Voice Lithuania, Generations.” Adorning the red carpet were a multitude of well-known personalities – not only coaches and participants of the project but also distinguished artists, producers, and luminaries from the entertainment industry.

The final stage saw nine participants engage in a spirited battle for the cash prize, culminating in a moment of suspense and revelation – the title of victors was bestowed upon the group “T3,” clinching 39.1% of the audience’s votes. Following closely behind, the group “Fuzija” secured second place in the superfinal with 30.1%, trailed by Emilija and Rugilė at 23.4% for third place, and Erica Jennings with her son Pranas at 7.4% for fourth.

Before the final showdown, it was announced that one duo from Benas Aleksandravičius’ team would be absent from the crucial battle – the twin brothers Timohi would not grace the final stage.

“May 9th saw the revelation of the values ​​held by one of the final participants, which diverged significantly from the virtues of our creative team regarding fundamental national issues. As a result, it was decided not to grant the group TIMOHI the opportunity to perform in the final of ‘The Voice Of Lithuania. Generations’.” -disclosed The Voice Lithuania’s executive producer Gediminas Jaunius ahead of the final.

Thus, Benas Aleksandravičius’ team was represented in the final by the youthful alternative music group “Fuzija” and the dynamic duo of Erica Jennings and her son Pranas. Gabrielė Vilkickytė graced the final with two family duos: Dalia and her son Julius and Antanas Gaudiešius, and his daughter Gabrielė. Vaidas Baumila showcased a diverse array of talent with four finalists: the duo of Emilija and Rugilė, the collective of violoncellists Voiceless and Kristina Jure, opera soloists Mindaugas and Osvaldas, and the dynamic duo of Italian Norberto and Lithuanian actress Teklė. Meanwhile, the coach Opera Diva ‘Nomeda Kazlaus’ entered the final with her sole participants, the boys’ group T3, whom she deemed worthy of the champions’ title from the outset.

Throughout the evening, participants captivated the audience with stunning performances, innovative interpretations of Lithuanian classics, and surprise guest appearances. During Dalia and Julius performance, four additional members of the musical family joined in, enhancing the rendition of Aistė Smilgevičiūtė’s iconic song “Strazdas” accompanied by a spectacular laser show. Opera virtuosos Osvaldas and Mindaugas received support in Queen’s classic not only from a quartet of double basses but also from an “avant-pop” style singer and music producer Monikaze, who injected a fresh twist into the performance midway through. Over fifty artists and professional dancers contributed to crafting unique shows for all finalists.

Following the initial round of voting for all nine finalists, the results revealed the favorites as T3, “Fuzija,” Emilija and Rugilė, and Erica Jennings with her son Pranas, who advanced to the superfinal. Subsequently, a new round of voting commenced for the superfinalists.

Adding to the evening’s intrigue was the host Rolandas Mackevičius, who gradually unveiled the new coaches for the upcoming season of “The Voice Of Lithuania.” The announcement came as a surprise even to the host himself – through a clever scheme devised by the producers, he dialed each coach’s number live, allowing the entire nation to discover who would occupy the coveted seats for the new season. It was revealed that Mantas Jankavičius, Benas Aleksandravičius, Gabrielė Vilkickytė, and Jessica Shy would serve as the esteemed coaches for the forthcoming season.
