Many local players are getting involved in the aftermarket of filters as they provide cheap products that are easily available. The manufacturing of filters does not involve huge capital investments, and the raw material requirement for filters is very less, and they are easily available. So, the local players can manufacture filters at a very low cost as compared to the filter manufacturers and can cater to the domestic replacement market. Moreover, local manufacturers are using big filter brand’s names, such as Mann + Hummel, in their product to sell in the market which is the biggest threat to the companies.
